Tommy Smith scored twice in the last 15 minutes to seal the win but the scoreline was perhaps a touch harsh on Wolves, who thrashed Watford 4-1 in the FA Cup last weekend.
The Molineux men only had themselves to blame when shocking defending allowed a throw-in to go all the way through to Steve Kabba in the very first minute. He made no mistake with a far post header and Wolves were immediately on the back foot.
