The roll call includes 40-year-old George Follows, who joined the Shropshire Star's sister paper the Express & Star around 1935 before moving to the Manchester Daily Herald, where he was working when he died.
All the dead were being remembered with a minute's silence before tonight's Wembley friendly between England and Switzerland.
Survivors were this afternoon assembling at Old Trafford for a special memorial service. Edwards died 15 days after the accident, which happened at 3.04pm on February 6, 1958.
