Damaged monument is back in place
A monument to one of Telford's most famous sons was being put back in place by a crane today after it was damaged by a vehicle.

A monument to one of Telford's most famous sons was being put back in place by a crane today after it was damaged by a vehicle.
The memorial to Captain Matthew Webb in Dawley High Street had been repaired after it was dismantled and taken away six months ago.
It was originally put up in 1909 to commemorate the achievements of Captain Webb.
