Fans queue for hours to see Katie Price in Telford

Glamour model Katie Price met hundreds of Shropshire fans this afternoon when she signed copies of her new book, Santa Baby, at Waterstone's in Telford Shopping Centre.

The headline-grabbing celebrity also had words of thanks and encouragement for those who had queued to meet her, with some having waited for more than five hours.

Katie said: "I love meeting the fans. It's great. I do this a lot of the time. I hope people like my book."

First in the queue was Emma Thomas, 25, from Dawley, who had previously met her heroine at Athena nightclub in Telford about 10 years ago.

Emma said: "I got to the shopping centre at 7.30am because she's amazing and I love her. She's just a real woman and we can all identify with her because she goes through the same things as girls like us."
