The 16-year-old, from Weston Rhyn, was given the award at Radio One's Teen Awards ceremony at London's Wembley Arena.
He was nominated for his heroics when he saved a six-year-old girl who was sucked into a sea drain at Shell Island, North Wales.
Charlie rushed across the road, jumped into the sea and saved her before returning her back to her parents.
