Today Susan Northwood, of estate agent Nock Deighton, said: "We have been inundated. People are very keen to view. Since the property went on the market we have conducted viewings every day.

"The property is of interest to people from around the UK."

Mrs Northwood added that the property was generating significant interest, despite the downturn in the market.

She said: "Properties like Dinham Hall tend to fly because they are so unique and exceptional. Even though the housing market is in a downturn, there has been no shortage of interest from people who want to view and make offers."

The property sits in the shadow of Ludlow Castle and is regarded as one of the finest in the county.
