Borough of Telford & Wrekin

The Council has made the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, Market Street, Wellington (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2015 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, in order to undertake highway improvement works. The order becomes operational from the 7/9/15.

The following Rd are affected: Church St Wellington, from its junction with Station Rd to Market St.Alternative route for southbound traffic: Vineyard Rd, Bridge Rd Northbound visa versa.The maximum duration is 18 months, but the works are expected to be completed by the 5/10/15.

The Council has made the Temporary Suspension of (The Salop County Council (Traffic Regulation Wellington Urban District) Order 1947) And (The Salop County Council (Various Streets, Wellington)(One Way) Order 1963) 2014 under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 in order to conduct highway improvement works. The order is effective from the 7/9/2015 and will temporarily suspend the one-way traffic order along Market St and Queen St for 4 weeks to allow access whilst the works are being undertaken.
