Borough of Telford & Wrekin
The Council has made the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, Ironbridge World Heritage Festival (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2015 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, in order for the festival to take place.
The order becomes operational on the 18/9/15. The following roads are affected: The Wharfage, Tontine Hill and High St, from Madeley Rd roundabout to a point just past the Museum of the Gorge. Paradise in its entirety. Church Hill in its entirety. Hodge Bower in its entirety. Belmont Road in its entirety. Cherry Tree Hill in its entirety. Lincoln Hill from its junction with The Wharfage to its junction with Church Rd. Bellevue Rd in its entirety. Woodlands Rd in its entirety. St Lukes Rd in its entirety. New Rd in its entirety. Severn Terrace in its entirety. Ladywood in its entirety. Access to Station Yard car parks will be restricted to disabled users and parking permit holders. There will be no access to The Square car park.
This order will come into operation on 18/9/15. A local diversion will be signed via Dale End, Dale Rd, Wellington Rd, Jiggers Bank, A4169 Ironbridge By-Pass, B4373 Castlefields Way, B4373 Park Way, B4373 Ironbridge Rd and Madeley Rd.
Access to the above named roads will be restricted to local residents only who may gain access on production of a permit pass issued from Telford & Wrekin Council. (TWC LP 00734)
