Tech-savvy school gets pat on the back from IT firm

A school has been rewarded for its dedication in making youngsters tech-savvy and has been made an official centre for training and development.

Market Drayton Infant School, on Longslow Road, has been made an official Professional Development Centre (PDC)for hosting local educational training thanks to its use of tech in the classrooms.

The reward has come from 2Simple Software – a company which produces creative educational software for primary schools.

And now the school has been made a PDC, it will host training events for other schools.

Sam Scott, head teacher, said: "It's a great opportunity for teachers to get together and feel inspired by a creative tool that has helped teachers to feel confident in the classroom and save hours of time on lesson planning."
