The Shropshire family of a pensioner who died six weeks after he was stabbed with a metal spike and found in a cupboard paid tribute to him today. The Shropshire family of a pensioner who died six weeks after he was stabbed with a metal spike and found in a cupboard paid tribute to him today. Leslie Ince, 80, of Walsall, West Midlands, was attacked with a 23-inch barbecue skewer, which went 14 inches into his neck and torso. He was discovered at his home on February 21. His son Peter, who lives near Much Wenlock, appeared on TV show Crimewatch appealing for help with the ongoing police investigation. Read the full story in the Shropshire Star.
