Motorists have already been enduring huge tailbacks because of works in St John's Street, Low Town. Drivers will now be met by temporary traffic lights on Westgate. The lights will be in place on Westgate from Monday until July 1 while Severn Trent Water carries out the scheme to repair a water main.
