A Shrewsbury man found guilty of assaulting another man has been jailed for two and a half years. A Shrewsbury man found guilty of assaulting another man has been jailed for two and a half years. Daniel Lewin, 28, of Sultan Road, appeared at Shrewsbury Crown Court yesterday after being found guilty of assaulting Innocent Nwamuo and causing him actual bodily harm. He was jailed for 30 months. Mr Robert Edwards, prosecuting, said the assault took place in New Park Road, Castlefields, Shrewsbury, as the victim was walking at about 1.30am on September 6, 2008.
