Sessions giving local people the chance to speak to their local county councillors will be held later this month in a brand new initiative from the authority called Councillor Question Time, with a TV star in the chair. Planned as a monthly event, the aim of the new project is to gather key councillors and senior officers under one roof and allow up to 200 members of the public to put them on the spot and ask them questions. The first Councillor Question Time will take place on July 17 at 7pm at Keele University Medical School lecture theatre and will be open to anyone who wishes to attend. The event is being chaired independently by ITV Central's news anchorman Bob Warman from 7pm. Read the full story in the Express & Star.
