A Staffordshire businessman had a fair dinkum day when he met self-proclaimed, international megastar Dame Edna Everage as she handed over a national award recognising excellence at his chain of sports theme venues. The Australian superstar called Scott Murray a possum and made a comment about a kilt he was wearing when he went on stage to receive the award of Entrepreneurial Business Of The Year. The accolade was handed out as part of the Publican Awards held last week at London's Grosvenor House in front of 2000 guests. Mr Murray, who lives in Cannock, recently had a burglary at his Bar Sport venue in Walsall's Bridge Street where £25,000 was taken.
