A flat rate of £8 for adults and £5 concessions had been applied for all areas of the ground since the new club was formed in 2004. About 200 residents attended a meeting in Bishop's Castle on Tuesday night to voice their concern over the plans. They are worried that they are not being given enough time to voice their opinions or find out additional information. Today Councillor Peter Phillips said he had written to district planning chief Councillor Colin Pendry and council leader Councillor Cecilia Motley asking for a delay. Plans for a new transport hub for Ludlow costing up to £2 million have come under the spotlight by council officials. Plans for a new transport hub for Ludlow costing up to £2 million have come under the spotlight by council officials. Members of South Shropshire District Council's executive committee have approved the project and now they aim to promote it to the new unitary council. The project involves an area that includes and extends the lower levels of the town's Galdeford car park. The aim is to provide room for a dozen stands for buses and coaches and specific parking bays for motorcyclists, taxi drivers, disabled drivers, and visitors in large vehicles.
