The woman who lives in Suffolk was discovered in a "distressed state" close to junction 7, Wellington, of the M54 on Sunday morning. A man has been arrested in connection with a sexual assault on a seven-year-old boy in Telford, detectives said today. He is currently in custody. The assault is believed to have occurred on a grassed area between Withywood Drive and Southwater Way in Malinslee - an area known as The Mound. Cash stolen as thieves trick man

Thieves tricked their way into the home of an elderly man and made off with cash. Police said a caller posing as a water official conned his way into the home in St George's Place, Clun. A second man slipped upstairs unnoticed and a quantity of money was later found to be missing. A special radio has been stolen from a hot air balloon which landed in fields near Oswestry. A special radio has been stolen from a hot air balloon which landed in fields near Oswestry. The air band radio was taken as the pilot and passengers deflated the balloon at about 7.30pm on Wednesday, in a field at Pradoe Hall, West Felton. Pilot Russell Collins said used in the wrong hands it could clog up the air waves that had to be kept free for emergencies. Anyone who has spotted the black radio, which looks like a large mobile phone with a rubber aerial, should call West Mercia Police on 08457 444 888.
