Telford-based SSP, which supplies and installs partitioning and mezzanine flooring as well as pallet racking and shelving, has been working on a project for Makita which has helped oost growth in the business.

The company turned over £1.5 million for the full year in 2014, but is now expecting to bring in closer to £2 million for the current year after its strong early performance.

SSP sees the performance as evidence of a booming economy, and business growth.

"We have been established since 1997 and in that time, we have seen massive changes in the industry" said director Nick Evans.

"It is interesting to note that all areas of the marketplace are growing, including local authorities, small and large businesses.

"As we specialize in providing space solutions for growing businesses, we are excited to see how the year pans out but so far it has been a record breaker for us."

As well as Makita, the company has worked with Ricoh for many years.

SSP provides work for around 26 staff from its headquarters on the Hortonwood Industrial Estate, including eight subcontractors.

"The future for SSP is exciting as the whole company has the skills and experience to capitalise on the upturn," Mr Evans added.

"We have innovative and forward thinking solutions to help all sizes of company to future proof their business."

Mark Anderson of Ricoh, which is based at Priorslee in Telford, added: "We know we can trust and rely on the service, product and quality delivered by SSP.

"SSP has a wide portfolio and distinctive knowledge of how best to support our business as we have transformed. SSP is not afraid of encouraging us to take the most suitable and cost effective solution."
