Skipper Yapp proud in defeat
Shropshire's Jo Yapp led a determined England effort as they fell to a narrow 25-17 defeat to New Zealand in the final of the women's rugby World Cup in Canada.

Skipper Yapp, from Clee Hill, was proud of her side as they just failed to wrestle the title away from the Black Ferns in Edmonton in the early hours of this morning.
"We went into this game as the underdogs but we were really confident we could take the game to them and believed we could win," said Yapp, who plays for Worcester.
