Punters hedge their derby bets

Sunday's Black Country derby is too close to call, according to the bookies.

Both teams are riding high in the Championship and the odds reflect what is expected to be a very tight contest. Bookmakers Coral have Wolves as slight favourites to pip Albion in the high-noon showdown but there is absolutely nothing in it.

Wolves are 11/8 to get their sixth win on the spin while Tony Mowbray's men are 6/4 to get their third derby win of the season at Molineux. A draw is priced at 9/4.

However, punters might get more joy predicting the score.

Bookmakers bet365 have Albion at 28/1 to get yet another 3-0 win while Wolves are shorter priced to pay their Black Country rivals back with a 3-0 win at 20/1. Anyone getting really carried away can get 100/1 on a 6-1 thrashing for either side.

Ladbrokes have Dimonasy Kamara as the man most likely to score first at 5/1 while Stephen Ward, Andy Keogh and Jay Bothroyd are all 6/1. DefenderNeill Collins looks like the best outside bet at 40/1.
