Newport pair Marc Millward and Mark Lindsay have been ruled out by work commitments, but Wood has turned to Bishop's Castle's Peter Hughes and another Newport man, Andy Whieldon, to plug the gap.
Newport's Chris Gibbons is back from America and has been called straight up.
