The former Adams Grammar School student is working his way back to full fitness after a knee injury which has restricted him to just two appearances since for his club since November.
Now he will be hoping to make the squad for the final game of Six Nations next week when England will be going for the Grand Slam against Ireland at Kingsholm.
His cause may be helped as fellow lock Ben Thomas was red carded and will miss the game
