The 21-year-old from Ludlow will be part of the six-man team from the Principality trying to win the title on home territory at Conwy when the event starts on Monday, June 30.

Farr has become an established member of the Welsh squad in the last two years, and was part of the Home Internationals squad where he beat Ireland Shane Lowry just six months before his remarkable success in his home championships on the European Tour two weeks ago.

Farr, who continued his impressive recent displays with a 25th place finish at last week's St Andrews Links, has won the Aberconwy Trophy over the course which will host the European Championships.
