Whitchurch cured their travel sickness as they won 19-5 at Cheltenham North to record their first away win of the Midlands 1 West season.
The Reds did all their work in the second half, coming from five points down to run out comfortable winners.
Cheltenham took the lead with a fifth minute try from their winger, while the conversion and a later penalty opportunity were missed.
The visitors hit back with their first try on 52 minutes, second row Matthew Evans going over and Danny Nicholas converting.
Full-back Henry Hockenhull set up the second, marking in his own 22 before tapping and running through the defence to the opposition 22.
The ball was then recycled, with centre and stand-in skipper Mike Gardner touching down.
Nicholas sealed the victory, scoring a third try which he then converted himself.
"It was a good defensive game from both teams but we came out on top in the end," said club president John Gregory. "It's the first time we've won at Cheltenham and it moves us up to fifth place."
The Reds also gave a debut to hooker Phillip Henry, from Harper Adams.
Oswestry fell to a 46-20 defeat at a well-drilled Ormskirk in South Lancs/Cheshire 1.
An Andy Howell penalty and a late Gareth Jones try were not enough to prevent the hosts leading 20-8 at the interval - their points coming from four unconverted tries.
And matters did not improve in the second half, though they kept going gamely and scored another two tries.
Rob Massam got the first of those after a scrum had been turned over 40 yards out, and then added a second himself with a powerful run along the line, converted by Howell.
But Ormskirk posted four more tries of their own, this time converting three, to run out convincing winners.
