Wrexham's new rugby league club have made another big name signing ahead of their championship launch at the end of the month.
Welsh Assembly Member Janet Ryder has picked up her season ticket for the 2010 engage Super League season at the Racecourse Ground from Crusaders head coach, Brian Noble.
North Wales regional AM Ryder is also patron of the Welsh Rugby League and a huge fan of the sport.
And she can't wait for Friday, January 29, when Crusaders take on reigning champions Leeds Rhinos at the Racecourse (8pm).
"Nothing beats the atmosphere and excitement of watching a live rugby league game and I can't wait to see the Crusaders in action at the Racecourse.
"The support for rugby league in North Wales is potentially huge and I'm expecting the curtain-raiser against Leeds Rhinos to be a 15,000 sell-out.
"North Wales has been starved of major sporting events in recent years and I'm sure the people from all over the region will turn out in force to get behind the Crusaders."
Mike Turner, commercial director of the Crusaders, added: "We always knew that bringing Super League to Wrexham would be well received by the public, but we have been truly overwhelmed by the support from the local community.
"Ticket sales so far have been very encouraging.
"We are introducing Super League to a brand new set of fans in Wrexham and are looking forward to people across the region coming out and supporting the Crusaders."
Season tickets cost from just £63 for children, £90 for seniors, students or ambulant disabled, £135 for adults or £180 for a family ticket.
That will give entry to all 11 home Super League matches at the Racecourse, two home matches that will be played "on the road" in South Wales, plus the Fourth Round of the Carnegie Challenge Cup - whether it be home or away.
Season tickets and tickets for game against Leeds Rhinos can be purchased by calling the Racecourse ticket hotline on 01978 262129 or by visiting the club shop.
