Defender Sean Newton is revelling in AFC Telford United's unbeaten start to the Blue Square Bet North season - and believes they are good enough to win the title.
England C international Newton has been an ever-present in a defence that has leaked just three goals in the first nine games of the campaign.
And the left-back, who turns 22 on Thursday, is backing boss Andy Sinton's squad to stay in the promotion picture over the next seven months. "He's probably the best manager I've ever had, everything's done properly," said Newton.
"He always wants 100 per cent out of you and he doesn't let anyone slack. We wouldn't be where we are now if it was any different.
"He's brought belief into the players that were here last year and the players that he's added are quality.
"The players not even making the squad at the minute are good enough to come in and play in this league and win it," he added.
"We've got strength in depth in every position. We've got a big squad and that could help us as the season progresses with injuries and loss of form and stuff like that."
Newton is also full of praise for his defensive colleagues as well - praising captain Shane Killock and his centre-back partner Liam Murray.
"We seem to have found a good partnership between the four of us," said Newton.
