Shropshire golfer Oliver Farr was today beginning the biggest amateur tournament of his career.
Farr, who plays out of Ludlow, is part of the three-man Wales team at the World Amateur Team Championships played over two courses in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Some 70 countries will be competing for the prestigious Eisenhower Trophy over the next four days, with the best two scores from three counting at the end of each round.
The international flavour to the competition was highlighted by Farr's opening day three-ball.
The Shropshire & Herefordshire first teamer was due to play with Rodolgo Cazaubon of Mexico and Korea's Jae-Hyeok Lee.
