Newport have their sights set on the top five in National League Three Midlands as they prepare to welcome Luton to Forton Road tomorrow.

Shropshire's highest-ran-ked side gained momentum with back-to-back victories and are now looking to make it three in a row.

But they have a tough test on their hands against a Luton side who have won four and drawn one of their last five.

"They didn't have the best of starts but in the last month or so they've come good and put some decent performances together," said team manager Gareth Davies.

"We'll be a little bit wary of them because they turned us over twice last season, home and away.

"But, fingers crossed, we can keep up the level we've shown in the last two games.

"On current form it's probably one of our toughest tests - but South Leicester came here when they were winning games left, right and centre last month and we turned them over."

Newport are without hooker Phil Kaleta, who is likely to be out for four weeks after damaging a knee in training. Jack Wells will replace him.

Ali Little is also unavailable due to work commitments so Rob Clymer will slot in at fly-half.

Struggling Hereford will be aiming to relieve their relegation worries when they take on Old Northamptonians at Billing Road.

But the Wyesider's will have to stop gifting their opponents points if they are going to get out of trouble at the bottom.

Hereford led Kenilworth by 10 points in their last league encounter but conceded 13 in the last 10 minutes.

"Once again an unforced error and poor decision making along with the inability to close a game down cost us the points," said director of rugby Steve Bradley.
