The New Saints' former manager Ken McKenna has been appointed assistant boss of Morecambe.
Jim Bentley, the newly-appointed chief of the League Two Shrimps, has finalised the appointment of 50-year-old McKenna and Stewart Drummond to his coaching staff.
McKenna, who spent 10 years as both a player and manager with the Saints, quit as manager of Altrincham following their relegation to Blue Square North last week.
"I have known Ken for a long time and have always admired him," said Bentley.
"He lives and breathes football and has an excellent knowledge of the game. He has had a good record as a manager and a coach and is also a great motivator."
