Three Fishes dropped to third place after crashing 3-2 at home.
Instones took over the Shrewsbury Sunday League premier division top spot after a 4-2 defeat of Remans AFC.
Remans took the lead through Adam Eviason but Matty Jones levelled before two more goals from Tom Rogers made the score 3-1. Sub Sean Butler scored a fourth for Instones, with Adam Evason getting a consolation for Remans.
