Ladies still in the swing with golf win in 80s

Forget the swinging sixties – two Shropshire ladies have proved golfing life goes strong at 80.

Ludlow Golf Club's Chris Edwards and Pam Bell have claimed a major clubs pairs title – at a combined age of 163.

Chris, 83 and 80-year-old Pam teamed up to win the Autumn Foursomes Cup with a nett score below both their age.

They returned a 74 to prove that golf truly is a sport for all ages.
