Ashley Chesters lands hole in one at tournament

Shropshire golfer Ashley Chesters today enhanced his reputation as an England ace with a sensational hole in one in a major amateur tournament.

His moment of magic came in the third round of the Australian Master of the Amateurs at Royal Melbourne.

The 22-year-old from Hawkstone Park holed out at the 220-yard third at the course which hosted the Presidents Cup clash between America and the Rest of the World in November, using his hybrid club.

Chesters shot a five under par 67 to lie 11th.
