Wrekin's Will Enefer to play for England Under-16s
Wrekin Golf Club's Will Enefer has been selected to play for England Under-16s against Wales in Shropshire on Sunday.
Enefer is one of five players who are new to this format of international team golf to be named in the eight-strong squad for the match at Oswestry Golf Club.
The call-up comes following an impressive season which has seen him finish seventh in the English Boys Under-16 Championship for the McGregor Trophy among other accolades.
The match with Wales will consist of four morning foursomes and eight singles matches.
Enefer has also represented England earlier this summer, albeit in a different format of competition.
He was a member of one of two three-strong England teams which took part in the Nations Cup competition at Seacroft Golf Club in July.
