Katy Leeming, Richard Lay and James Slater represented the eight-strong Great Britain School's Shooting Team alongside some of the best competitors from all over the world.

They competed in the individual and team men's and women's junior 50m Rifle Prone.

The team finished second in the overall team competition, narrowly loosing out to the host nation by six points.

Katy said: "The experience of shooting for the Great Britain Schools Team in Denmark was amazing, because I got to compete alongside world champions, which really inspired me.

"The whole event was something that I will never forget and it was disappointing not to finish in top spot."

The popular show and national athletics festival attracted over 20,000 entrants this year, who were involved in 22 separate disciplines.
