A day to remember at the Crown Meadow resulted in the new club's maiden trophy and the first title in any guise since the 2007–08 season.

That campaign saw them become champions of the Premier Division and they will be back at the level next season, where they will be fancied.

Saturday's success came through goals from Liam Bood, Simon Gregory, Glynn Coney, Kevin Buxton, captain Andy Hartlebury and Pip Hurdley.

Mark Clyde's side now complete their league fixtures at Mahal on Wednesday, with the chance of a quadruple still on through their cup involvements.

They are still involved in the Division One League Cup, the JW Hunt Cup and have reached the Shropshire Premier Cup final, where they will play Ellesmere Rangers.

It is the first step on the road back towards the Midland Alliance, where the now defunct Bridgnorth Town were playing before being hit by money problems, forcing them to fold last summer.
