The quartet's call-up for next Sunday's match are among a number of changes that have been made by Shropshire's new gang of four senior selectors.

County President John Coxill, Mick Jones, Derek Wright and Peter Bound have also opted to move two of the younger players tried last year, Rob Roden and Jamie King, to the reserves list along with reigning County Merit champion Kiah Roberts.

John Coxill said: "Hopefully we have picked a team that will win the first match because it is very important to do that."

Shropshire have been drawn in group one along with Cheshire, Merseyside and South Yorkshire.
