Paul McGarry is senior champ
Bridgnorth's Paul McGarry is the new Shropshire & Herefordshire Senior County Golf Champion.

McGarry carded a three-over-par 73 to take the crown at Arscott Golf Club yesterday. His club-mate Duncan Hamling came second, with 75, while last year's winner, Basil Griffiths, came third with 76.
Bridgnorth won the team prize on the day.
* Horsehay Village's promising youngster Harry Burt missed the cut at the Scottish Boys Under-16s Open Championship after rounds of 75 and 74 left him on nine over par.
