A journey that started nine years ago for some of the players reached a successful conclusion as the side ended their final season together with a fine collection of silverware.

The Shropshire Junior League outfit, under the astute guidance of joint-managers Nick Hyne and Martin Millington and coach Ian Jaques, enjoyed a clean sweep of honours as they bagged a County Cup, League Cup and Under-16 A League title treble.

Juniors edged a close battle with Saha Buccaneers to claim the league crown, winning 12 and drawing one of their 14 games to finish a point clear of their nearest rivals. Buccaneers were second best once again when Juniors beat them 3-1 to win the League Cup at Shrewsbury College.

A trip to AFC Telford's Bucks Head for the County Cup final ended in a 2-1 success against Admaston Juniors.

The side, who played their matches at Lea Cross, which is located between Pontesbury and Hanwood, are now set to disband with their treble-winning stars heading for new clubs next season.
