Telford's double-winning success means tickets are set to be at a premium during the upcoming English Premier League campaign, with the introduction of Hull Pirates to the EPL.

The original deadline for fans to purchase the seats they used last season was July 12. But a meeting with The Tigers Supporters Club is to take place next week and the deadline has been extended.

Tigers bosses have already launched a number of initiatives to reward fans for their support last year, including a second successive freeze on headline ticket prices.

Paul Baker, director of Red Hockey, said: "It is so important to have happy fans who are sitting in their first choice of seats.", often alongside their friends and family. That is what makes this club so special.

"This summer has seen an unprecedented amount of interest in season tickets. To give our long-term supporters a chance to retain their seats, we have decided to extend the deadline to reserve last year's seats by a week.

"Working with The Tigers Supporters Club is very important everyone involved with this club. They are the reason why The Tigers exist and are vital to the smooth running of match nights in particular.

"Even if fans don't manage to reserve their season ticket seats from last season, there will still be plenty of great places left in the stands. We believe we have one of the best rinks in the EPL, in terms of watching great ice hockey."
