Whitchurch Under-10s take the trophy
Whitchurch lifted the Bob Anderson Trophy with victory at Bridgnorth in the county Under-10 cup final.
The visitors batted first and made 105-5 off their 20 overs.
Tom Griffin (17), Will Owen (12) and Freddie Timmis (12) were the main scorers while Harry Beckett (2-14 off three overs) was the most successful bowler.
In reply, Bridgnorth were always up with the run rate but lost wickets at regular intervals. They were eventually dismissed for 77, leaving Whitchurch the victors by 28 runs.
Matthew Whitehead top scored with 17 for the hosts while Rachael Owen, Will Owen and Freddie Timmis all claimed two wickets apiece.
Shropshire Cricket Board competions manager Steve Aston praised both teams for the standard of their ground fielding, with six direct hits during the match.
