Telford golfer James Busby battles on his return
Telford golfer James Busby was looking to finish with a flourish today after struggling on his return to the European Tour.
Busby, sidelined for two years by injury and illness, will have been grateful just to get back on a course.
He battled to a five over par 77 in his first round at the BMW SA Open at Johannesburg, South Africa, which included a double bogey seven at the 15th.
Yesterday he was four over for the day at Glendower Golf Club after 10 holes, starting his round at the ninth, when bad weather and the threat of lightning halted play.
Keith Horne led in the clubhouse after rounds of 67 and 69, but pre-tournament favourite Branden Grace was level wtih him on eight under par after 11 holes of his second round. Play
Grace fired four successive birdies from the second hole.
