The club sent four teams to compete at Lilleshall National Sports Centre and they all returned home as county champions.

The under-12 boys led the way with a series of dominant displays.

They started their tournament in stunning fashion with a convincing 10-0 victory against Telford and Wrekin.

Another fine display in their next outing saw them sweep aside Whitchurch 6-1.

Their final match saw them take on fellow unbeaten side Bridgnorth in a winner-take-all shootout for glory.

And it was Shrewsbury who came out on top as they recorded a 3-0 success.

The under-10 boys were crowned county champions after the other sides in their age group pulled out of the competition.

The under-10s girls defeated Whitchurch to clinch the county competition.

The teams played out three goalless draws, before Shrewsbury triumphed 2-1 on penalty strokes.

The under-12s started with a hard-fought 1-0 win against Whitchurch thanks to a goal from Lottie Myer before Annabel Cox found the net in 1-1 draw with Telford and Wrekin.

A 4-0 win over Bridgnorth followed and overall success was secured when Shrewsbury beat Ludlow 2-0 in their last game and Telford and Wrekin lost 1-0 to Bridgnorth.

All sides now progress to the Midlands finals with the under-12 teams having the chance to win a national final place.
