Needing just a point to secure the Midlands One (West) title, the All Blacks sealed their second successive promotion in style by beating Whitchurch away 31-13.

Victory put them nine points clear of second-placed Bournville, who completed their fixtures with a 19-10 defeat at Worcester Wanderers.

Bridgnorth will now be playing in National Three (Midlands) where they replace relegated Newport as Shropshire's top dogs.

Captain Dan Griffiths said: "Coming on the back of the success we had last year we were going into the unknown, so to dominate the league has been fantastic.

"The journey has been two-and-a-half years in the making and we didn't expect to be where we are."

Telford were also celebrating after beating Bishops Castle and Onny Valley 19-0 to finish as runners-up in Midlands Four West (North).

First-team manager Roger Bates said: "I've never seen a crowd like it here – there must have been 300 people and the smiles on the faces of supporters and club members showed we've turned the club around."

Hornets will join fellow Shropshire sides Ludlow, Clee Hill and Cleobury Mortimer in Midlands Three (North) next season.
