John Walker, from Newport, Jodie Grinham, of Telford, and Mikey Hall, of St Martin's, are in a squad that will head to the Sambodromo in September.

Many other members of the squad, including Beijing gold medallist John Stubbs, train at the Lilleshall National Sports Centre.

Team Leader for Archery Hilda Gibson added: "For many of them, the Paralympics has been a dream for a long time.

"Now that they have reached this point I know they will be fired up to do their best in competition later this year."
