Bradley, from Shrewsbury, and her 18-year-old bay mare Renaissance III had to beat off a strong field to claim National Amateur Championships qualification victory at Wellington Riding Centre in Hampshire.

Now she heads to the championship event which will be staged at Liverpool's Aintree Equestrian Centre from November 16-20.

The Dodson & Horrell-backed event saw 61 entries across two hard-fought sections, 0.95m and 1.05m.

No fewer than 21 pairings managed to go clear and get through to the jump-off in the 0.95m section which was contested by Bradley.

Jumping from a late draw, Bradley took full advantage to put her foot down and produce an unbeatable double clear in 32.80 seconds.

Coming home in second place was Victoria Jenner from Cirencester, Gloucestershire with her 17-year-old brown gelding, Euromagic.

This partnership also produced a double clear, as did all the top dozen finishers.

But they clocked 34.69 – nearly two seconds down on the pace of Bradley.

Skye Neal from Sherborne, Dorset took third place riding Tracy Neal's 14-year-old bay gelding, Dimitar Berbie.

Drawn as the penultimate combination to go, this pair posted a double clear in 37.01 seconds. But there was no stopping Bradley.
