Sky's the limit for Freya Anderson
Talented Shropshire swimmer Freya Anderson has landed a place on the Sky Sports Scholarship Programme.
The Ellesmere College Titans star is one of 10 athletes set to benefit from funding and developmental support for the next three years.
The 16-year-old stormed to her first senior British title in the 100m freestyle in April this year and struck gold in the same event in the World Junior Championships in Indianapolis in August.
She made her senior GB debut in July’s World Championships in Hungary and her long-term target is to compete in the Olympics in Tokyo in 2020.
