Shrewsbury Town head coach Paul Hurst reveals conversation with Tommi O'Reilly

Tommi O'Reilly knows what he needs to do to get back into the Shrewsbury Town team, according to boss Paul Hurst.

The midfielder, who joined Salop on a season-long loan from Aston Villa in the summer, started all of Town's first four League One clashes this season. 

But he has not made a league start since the 3-0 win over Leyton Orient - when he combined with fellow loanee Leo Castledine to create Town's first goal. 

Talk among Shrewsbury fans has been dominated by O'Reilly's omission in recent weeks and Hurst says the 20-year-old is fully aware of how he gets back into his plans. 

"He knows himself what he needs to do," the head coach said. "And in fairness to Tommi, he is working hard on that.
