Lloyd joined Town in the summer as a free agent after his contract ended at his former club Cheltenham.
The striker’s persistent running and harrying has been one of the bright sparks of a very sombre season so far with Shrewsbury Town sitting second from bottom in the League One table.
Lloyd’s work rate has led to praise despite Town only managing to win two games from their opening 14 league fixtures.
And he believes that work-rate is one of the only things inside your control as a footballer.
