Liam Davies feeling 'unbeatable' ahead of boxing bout
Telford’s Liam Davies has declared he feels “unbeatable” as he prepares to knock out rival Shabaz Masoud at the top of the TV billing on Saturday.
A Shropshire showdown dominates the card at Resorts World in Birmingham as Davies, from Donnington, puts his IBO title on the line against Masoud, who also has Telford roots.
Davies sent out a warning he is out to floor his super bantamweight rival, who previously boxed for Wellington Boxing Club, in the rescheduled scrap – as the 28-year-old admitted it would take something special to stop him retain his world title.
“I feel unbeatable – that’s how I feel,” Davies said.
“Every fight I’ve got to keep proving it which I have no problem in doing. I’m living out my dream.
