Just when you think it could not get any worse for Salop supporters the club manages to take supporters to new levels of despair.
The performance at Bescot Stadium on Tuesday was abysmal. In the first half, they competed with Walsall and should have had a couple of goals with the chances they made against a team that had made 10 changes.
But after half-time, they simply rolled over.
With the quest for a new coach ongoing and the chances that a potential new boss would be watching the match against Mat Sadler's Walsall team, you would have expected the players to put in a better performance.
Gareth Ainsworth has been reported to be in pole position for the job, but the former Queens Park Rangers man would have not been impressed by that insipid performance.
