The defender joined up with his countrymen after Wolves' 2-0 win over Southampton, despite playing with a groin strain.

He missed Uruguay’s 3-2 win over Colombia on Saturday and will also miss the clash with Brazil this week after struggling to recover from his injury. Team-mate Andre will hope to play for Brazil in that clash.

Bueno has now returned to Wolves for treatment, with the club keen to get him fit for the upcoming trip to Fulham.

Wolves only have three fit senior centre-backs and all three have been starting of late, meaning Gary O'Neil's team cannot afford more injuries.
